I used to see photos of Haystack Rock all over the internet, where the sun is beaming and the fog is creating a glow that is something from a movie.
Simply put, it’s perfect.
However, Haystack Rock did not look anything like that the day we arrived. The clouds were gloomy and the sky was grey until it transformed into shades of blue.
The most brilliant shades of blue.
