Rosette & Houston

I normally don’t share a lot of black and whites in one post, but one of my favorite things about New Orleans is how vivid love is here, more than the culture, more than the stunning palettes that evolve throughout the day. Love is what keeps this city alive.
As soon as I met Rosette and Houston I knew they were something special (so cheesy, I know, but so true). We grabbed a drink at the Carousel Bar while they told me about how they were in the same exercise class for over a year before they finally met one another (granted it was a huge class 100+ people) but let’s just say I’m glad they finally met. They told me about their funny accident on their first date that I can’t repeat here, we laughed, they danced, we visited Fitzel’s where Houston got on stage and proposed to Rosette in front of a room of crowded people and they danced and sang some more. Also, the song that was playing when Houston proposed to Rosette randomly came on while we were at Fitzels, and those photos are great too.
