Five months into the new year and I already feel so spoiled by the couples I get to work with and the love I get to witness.
The great thing about New Orleans is that you can have a wedding just about anywhere, even in someone’s backyard.

In this instance, Ashley and Ed’ decided to have a lovely little Bywater wedding in the backyard of Mazant house.  They held their ceremony alongside fifteen of their closest friends and family.  After the ceremony the kids came running out with champagne (a photo that makes me laugh every time I see it) where toasts, cheese plates and brotherly shenanigans took place.
Ashley and Ed gave me an hour of their day to document them giggling and hanging out – which quickly became some of my favorite images I’ve taken to date.

After us worrying about being locked in the Louis Armstrong Park (it starts to close its gates at 7) we finally made our way over to Calcasieu to finish the evening with an intimate dinner with their friends and family.

I honestly couldn’t have imagined a more perfect day.
