Michael and Jakki’s SF City Hall wedding was a pretty surreal day in my career.
It was one of those days where you wake up in a city that you recently moved to and smiled in silence the entire drive to your shoot, immersed in the reality that your dreams were no longer figments of your imagination.

In July of 2019, I moved away from my entire community in New Orleans and I transplanted my business to a massive market, but mostly, I stopped letting fear control my choices for the first time in my life and I moved to the place I’ve always dreamed about.

This was a day I’ll probably never forget. And my favorite thing about it was that even though Michael and Jakki’s SF City Hall wedding was incredible and everything I imagined it to be (and Michael and Jakki were such dreamboats!), the most beautiful location was the one we stumbled upon. Which served as a comforting reminder that despite plans, expectations, and anticipation, there’s so much beauty to be found in the unknown.
