It’s not every day you get to hang out with your best friend and two strangers who quickly become your friends, but I guess that’s what eight hours in a car together will do.
Overwhelmed best explains my feelings the day before our session with Adriana and Sam. National Parks always seem to knock me off my feet with a sensory overload. There was so much beautiful light and life everywhere we went. The light was constantly changing, our views shifted from mountains to vast bodies of water within minutes. Everywhere was picturesque.
The day of the shoot we traveled through Yellowstone and the Grant Tetons (which I always try to say in a Cajun accent ‘Tetaunt’) and threw our ‘itenerary’ from the day before out the window. It was overcast most of the day which was a miracle in itself and the light and water changed so much from the day before even though I wrote down specific times on where to be when – but it was ok, because everything always seems to work out in the end.
Here are a few of my favorite images from our day.
